Gerfried Guggi
Having worked in a wide field of IT, economics and art, Gerfried Guggi has finally centered his life around A38, a multi-disciplinary design studio he established in 2010, together with Tom Thurner. Being totally keen on graphical, visual ways of communication his passion for photography and filmmaking is a natural output of his point of view. He considers photography, filmmaking and graphicdesign own disciplines, which share a visual and narrative structure as well as an aesthetic value. Pushing this structure and aesthetic value forward with every project by engaging in a never-ending process of learning and sharing ideas with others is one of Guggi’s principles. Another one may be to “always deliver more than people expect, to deliver carefully crafted media with sustainable topics.” In his spare time Guggi can be found rocking concerts (mostly with cam), jogging, watching movies or chatting about topics to do with photography, movies and IT, preferably with his fiancé with whom he shares the passion of climbing.
